To the editor:
What happens to a country who’s government does not embrace its immigration law? Illegal entry to a country is intrusion and insults those who have come to America legally.
People are coming from many places to escape corruption and wrong treatment and some to purposely do harm.
Those that will break our law to get here, will they respect our laws after they area here. Some prove they will not.
They are coming to a country with its own home-grown dens of inequity that provide a lucrative market for illegal drugs, sex trafficking and pornography.
Homelessness with people living on some city streets and wooded areas, along without of control crime, casuing closure of businesses for many. Some parts of many cities are not safe even for the police.
Our national debt is unsustainable and insults our integrity as a country. The interest on this debt is deplorable in light of the legitimate needs in our country.
If we continue down theses negative paths, it is possible for this country to become like the places these immigrants want to leave.
There is an answer, but requires mankind to have humility and desire to be God’s people.
2nd Chronicles 7:14, “If my people are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
