The Pathfinder School, an independent K-8 school in Elmwood Township, appointed Dina Kennedy as the new chair of the Board of Trustees.
Her appointment marks a signifi cant moment in the school’s history, as she becomes the first female chair of the group in 23 years.
“As the newly appointed board chair, I am honored to take on this vital role in our school community,” she said in a letter providing insights into her professional background as a critical care trained clinical pharmacist at Munson Medical Center.
Kennedy’s connection to The Pathfinder School is profound, with four years of tenure on the board and eight years as a dedicated Pathfinder parent to three active children who will be attending sixth, third, and first grades. Her involvement in various school initiatives has allowed her to witness firsthand the transformative impact the school can have on its students.
“At the Pathfinder School, I bring the perspective of my four-year tenure on the board. I have also been a Pathfinder parent for eight years to three active children who will be attending sixth, third, and first grades.
