I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. The holidays are always tremendous, family and together. Unfortunately when the holidays are over, they are really over. Don’t forget them too soon.
As always, the Snowbirds are getting ready to head south. Be careful, the roads might not cooperate and we want you back.
There have been mixed feelings about the CNN report calling Leelanau County one of the prettiest in the USA. Property owners are happy with values and businesses are pleased. The visitors will be coming to check us out. I’m sure most will agree that we are fortunate that the Park came in, but if not, we would have no empty forest, lake access, beaches, etc. If we were not in the middle of the park, I am not sure many of the residents including my family would be here.
