Some things never change and bear sightings in our area at this time of year are an annual happening. My advice is look, don’t touch. This is not Yogi. The Jones have a bear visiting often and there was a bear enjoying the Alonzi beach.
If you missed the Empire Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, it was the usual great meal. Don’t miss the Cedar/Maple City Pancake breakfast.
Speaking of food, take advantage of Restaurant Week, good eating at a good price.
While we are on the subject of Lions Club, if you have eyeglasses not used, give them to a Lions Club member or look for the collection boxes in the area.
I considered writing this week in Spanish to honor Cinco de Mayo, but I don’t know enough Spanish.
The days are getting longer and warmer, enjoy.

Don’t forget to proudly fly our American flag on May 7, the end of the Vietnam War. We lost many good people.
Be happy. Stay safe. Be courteous. Go Patriotism!
