Versiti and the League of Women Voters of Leelanau County will host a blood drive next week.
Versiti will be in the community room of the county government building from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m., Jan. 4.
Every January National Blood Donor Month is celebrated. It’s a time to honor the selflessness of blood donors and raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations. In the United States, nearly seven million people selflessly give blood every year, serving as a lifeline for countless individuals in need.
Versiti is marking National Blood Donor Month with a “Drive to Save Lives Sweepstakes.”
All attempted donors between Jan. 1 and 16 will automatically be entered to win A 2023 Toyota RAV4 valued at $29,441.
