The Suttons Bay Bingham District LIbrary will host a special family story program on Tuesday, January 2 at 10:30 am.
The program will feature “Wintercake,” a resplendent picture book by local author and illustrator, Lynne Ray Perkins.
Come with your family to hear this lovely tale of blustery days and winter friendships, read to you by the author herself. Plus, there will be cake.
Lynne Rae Perkins is a nationally recognized, Newbery Award winning author. The Newbery Medal is distributed annually to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children published the previous year. Ms. Perkins won the award in 2006 for her book Criss Cross.
This library program is free and all are welcome.
