The Traverse City Coast Guard Auxiliary will hold a boater’s safety course later this month.
Boat American, an 8-hour course for recreational boaters ages 12 and older, will offered Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Topics covered include boating safety and safety equipment, emergency procedures, navigation rules and aids, and boating regulations.
Cost: $15 to cover cost of book and boater safety certificate.
