Wednesday, Feb. 19

10:12 a.m. — Leland Township — Black, skinny Lab with some gray on the face. Heading west on Pertner, heading into a farm house. So it might be his home.

10:52 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Dog grabbed caller’s clothing.

11:50 a.m. — Kasson Township — Threats. Welfare check completed.

12:36 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Parking complaint. Business will have to have it towed. Needs law enforcement to confirm it isn’t stolen. (Law enforcement attempted contact with registered owner. Called tow truck. Can be towed.)

6:11 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Apartment upstairs, Playing music for more than two hours.

6:19 p.m. — Centerville Township — Vehicle off the roadway in the ditch. Unoccupied. Still warm. Cadillac SUV. No damage. No injuries. Tow truck called.

6:20 p.m. — Solon Township — Parking issues. Can’t get down the road in anything larger than a passenger vehicle. Caller reached out to the Road Commission. Only room for one vehicle to travel due to snowbanks.

7:04 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has not heard from friend in two to three days. (She is OK and is going to give the caller a call back and let her know everything

is OK.)

7:58 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller advises that a person is moving snow out onto M-22. Caller told him to stop and remove it but he is refusing to do so. (Majority of the snow has been removed from the roadway and it’s no longer a hazard.)

9:16 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller got his Toyota 4-Runner stuck in the ditch. He is requesting a wrecker to help pull him out of the ditch.

10:37 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Assault and battery.

11:51 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller is a Uber driver. Someone swerved into his lane and he whipped out of the way. Caller is now stuck.

Thursday, Feb. 20

5:35 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller slid off the road into a ditch. Driver taken into custody.

6:23 a.m. — Empire Township — Vehicle in the ditch. No one inside, but was told that the driver got a ride to work and she already called a tow truck bu they were going to be three hours.

Vehicle well off the road. Not obstructing. Tow truck dispatched. May be a small amount of damage but the extent will not be known until the can is pulled out.

10:34 a.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor’s dog is at caller’s house and he will not come to retrieve him.

11:08 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller would like a welfare check on her brother. (No vehicles. Fresh footprints from the door this morning. But no one home. Deputy will check back later in his shift.)

1:34 p.m. — Bingham Township — Fishing equipment out on the lake. No one around. Two vehicles in parking lot. (Deputy went out on the ice. Kiteboarder.)

5:02 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller suspects someone is driving after drinking.

Friday, Feb. 21

2:03 a.m. — Solon Township — Flames from reignited fire visible. Hot spots put out.

8:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Classroom that has lockdown boot installed unnecessarily. Cannot gain entry into the room and would like some assistance.

11:59 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a scam received via text regarding unpaid tolls.

12:44 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Dark-colored Volvo, fleeing and eluding.

2:32 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller would like to speak with someone regarding former employee. Would possibly like him trespassed.

3:38 p.m. — Solon Township — White Toyota 4Runner parked on the side of the road near state land. Caller thinks the road is not wide enough for it to be parked there.

3:48 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Barn collapsed with cattle inside.

Saturday, Feb. 22

10:49 a.m. — Solon Township — Dog has been hanging around the Timberlee area for a couple days. Husky/Shepherd mix; no collar. (Law enforcement went to house where there were at least three dogs. Some had quills. All look in poor condition.)

2:09 p.m. — Empire Township — Amazon driver stuck in caller’s driveway. Caller doesn’t speak English. Caller has asked a neighbor with tractor for assistance.

Sunday, Feb. 23

2:38 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller having issues with man that has been harassing and stalking caller. (Per law enforcement, subject told that he must cease contact.)

5:05 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor’s two dogs are outside. Caller put them inside and closed the door. Entrance door was wide open. (Caller called back. Advised neighbors took the dogs in but they’ve gotten out again.)

5:29 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Toyota Rav4 on automatic accident notification. Unable to make contact. Caller would like a welfare check. (Dispatch made contact with subject. Vehicle stuck in the snowbank. Tow truck en route. Passerby helped her and took caller back to her residence. Does not think there is damage to vehicle.)

Monday, Feb. 24

12:16 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s plow truck is in the middle of the field at his house. It is now burned, possibly an electrical fire. Truck is not near any other structures. Caller drove his tractor out. There is a small flame still within the frame of the truck. He can meet fire department at the road and help them back to it. 8:28 a.m. — Bingham Township — Unknown entity took over caller’s Facebook account and is reaching out to have people pay them.

9:28 a.m. — Solon Township — Three dogs come onto caller’s property everyday.

11:06 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s husband was bit by a dog while on a walk this morning.

11:47 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black German Shepherd being aggressive.

7:30 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Woman on the side of the road that appeared to be “stranded.” Caller wanted to make sure she was OK. Vehicle was well in the ditch. (Upon arrival, the vehicle was being pulled out of the ditch and they are on their way.

11:39 p.m. — Bingham Township — Family trouble.

Tuesday, Feb. 25

12:16 p.m. — Kasson Township — Request to meet law enforcement. Mandatory reporting of a act of possible criminal sexual conduct.

4:05 p.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor’s dog on caller’s property.
