Charles Gould, extension bioenergy educator from the Michigan State University Extension will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Leelanau Energy.
Gould will be at the 10:30 a.m. meeting, relocated from the Leelanau Township Library to the public conference room at The Highlands.
He will be appearing via Zoom.
Gould has an extensive background in the areas of renewable energy and energy conservation to Michigan farmers and agribusinesses including teaching, writing and managing multiple research projects.
His presentation will be about the present and future of “agrivoltaics” defined as the integration of solar energy production with agricultural simultaneously on the same piece of land.
