Chatterley returns

The Leelanau School is pleased to announce the return of Brian K. Chatterley as director of admissions.

Chatterley brings over 25 years of independent school leadership experience in admissions, marketing, and advancement.

His distinguished career includes positions at respected institutions such as Admiral Farragut Academy, Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and The White Mountain School.

A former president of the Small Boarding School Association, Chatterley is known for his innovative enrollment strategies and strong relationships with educational consultants and international partners. He previously served as Leelanau’s director of admission from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2011 to 2013.

“(Chatterley’s) deep connection to our school and its mission makes him uniquely positioned to lead our enrollment efforts with insight, passion, and a strong sense of community,” said Rob Hansen, head of school.

As Chatterley steps into this role, he is eager to connect with students, engage with families, and champion the distinctive educational experience that sets Leelanau apart.
