The Empire Area Community Center will host a Chili Cook-off Saturday, March 22 at the Empire Township Hall.
From 1 to 3 p.m. people can taste and vote with money for a winner.
Registration is required by March 15 and can be completed by calling 989-560-1667.
The event is sponsored by the Empire United Methodist Church.
Proceeds will benefit the Empire Food Pantry and Empire Paper Pantry.
