Thank you for the excellent article on microplastics. I would like to add that large detergent bottles are a huge contributor to plastic waste in our landfills. Each household can avoid buying these containers by using a lightweight, easily recycled aluminum cylinder of Dirty Labs Bio Enzyme Laundry Detergent free of plastic and PVA/PVOH. This can be purchased online at Dirty Labs’ website. A small simple way for each of us to respect our local ecology.
