Wednesday, Feb. 12

8:08 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller says a woman has her purse. Would like assistance on getting it back. (Per law enforcement determined that caller left her purse on her golf cart. It was recovered fully intact without items missing.)

2:15 p.m. — Kasson Township — County plow drivers reporting a white Chevy Uplander that’s been parked on the side of the road. Very close to the travel lane. It’s been there all day. (Unable to contact registered owner. Tow truck called.)

7:21 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller is Airbnb cleaner. There is a drunken woman who has bounced off the sign and is in the entrance. (One in custody for operating while intoxicated.)

Thursday, Feb. 13

1:02 a.m. — Solon Township — Family troubles.

7:47 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Dark colored Jeep all over the road, northbound on M-22. Second call received. Right behind the Jeep.

8:03 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dark colored SUV crossing over the centerline and hit subject, who was driving a gray Hyundai Santa Fe. Clipped his mirror, causing the caller into the ditch.

8:41 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller feels threatened/

harassed by a subject.

4:54 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller purchased a vehicle from a business three days ago via credit card. Receiving threatening phone calls because half of the payment is still pending.

10:04 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller is a neighbor and checks on a home. Went into the master bedroom where window screen was gone. Some damage to vase and photos that were broken.

Friday, Feb. 14

11:35 a.m. — Leland Township — In the parking lot. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

11:53 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Southbound white van with a ladder rack on top is all over the roadway.

3:36 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Fraud.

3:51 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Burgundy red Subaru driving erratically. Passing on double yellow.

6:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Black truck with topper and ladder. Female passenger and male driver. (Dispatched advised caller to contact the Traverse City Police Department f or report if necessary.)

8:44 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller went out to her car from restaurant and her car is not there. (There was a similar vehicle in the lot, per law enforcement.)

10:19 p.m. — Bingham Township — Dark-colored truck parked partially in the roadway. Caller didn’t see anyone in the vehicle. (Owner showed up. Vehicle removed from the road.)

11:20 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller sold a blue Ford F250 to someone on Facebook marketplace “as is.” Buyer was told that the truck had some issues and needed power steering fluid. The buyer backed it into the ditch and broke the truck. Buyer is now making threats to the caller if he doesn’t give him his money back. (Buyer was advised that if he wants to get any money back, he will have to go through civil court.)

Saturday, Feb. 15

9:47 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Black Dodge Charger parked in the fire lane and across the sidewalk. No plates. Not sure if occupied. Been there since last night. (Owner on scene. Removing the vehicle.)

10:59 a.m. — Empire Township — Bike taken from garage some time within the last two weeks.

6:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller wants a welfare check on daughter. (Deputies made contact. She is fine. Will make contact with her mother.)

7:51 p.m. — Kasson Township — Trailer is filling up with water. Needs someone to shut off the water. (This is beyond the scope of law enforcement. Dispatched advised to contact a plumber.)

8:03 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller thinks there may be an accident to the south. He saw two vehicles going in opposite directions and now they are stopped next to each other.

Sunday, Feb. 16

10:23 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject was assaulted and left by a sign. Walked north to get to the village of Suttons Bay. (No injuries.)

10:54 a.m. — Kasson Township — Suspicious incident.

3:02 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was plowing a driveway with lights on and someone T-boned him. (No injuries. Four-wheel drive v. silver truck.)

5:41 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller last spoke with friend two months ago. All forms of communication are going unanswered. (Contact made. Everything is fine and friend will contact caller.)

6:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle stuck in the ditch west of Bugai Road. Girl’s dad is on scene and will wait there for the wrecker.

6:04 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black 4-wheel drive stuck in the ditch exiting the government center.

Monday. Feb. 17

8:37 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Toyota Camry parked in the roadway. Towed.

10:01 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller found two toy soldiers in bathroom that does not belong to her. Caller contacted everyone she thought it could be and it is not them. House was unlocked. Nothing else out of place.

11:56 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle and trailer in the ditch. Plow truck arrived on the scene trying to assist in getting the vehicle out. (Vehicle removed.)

12:46 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Box truck partially sticking out into roadway around the curve. (Deputy found that the homeowner was shoveling the drive before pulling the truck back up the driveway.)

2:40 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Trespassing subject. Blue truck with a plow. Caller recently shoveled driveway and on returning found a bunch of snow piled in her driveway.

5:52 p.m. — Centerville Township — Subject has been trying to reach his brother for three days. Call goes directly to voicemail. Would like him checked on. (Deputies met with subject. He’s fine. He’s been having trouble with his phone and getting a replacement. Caller was called back and told that brother should be reaching out when he can get to use his neighbor’s phone.)

Tuesday, Feb. 18

12:15 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbor pushed snow up into caller’s yard. Caller is concerned there is damage to the yard. Caller not home currently. But her other neighbor advised her of the situation.

3:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Domestic dispute.

7:45 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller reports an abandoned vehicle in her father’s driveway. She lives next door and notice a vehicle stuck in the driveway. (The vehicle belonged to a caretaker sent over. They will have it towed in the morning, per law enforcement.)

10:07 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller owns home in the county. Not on site. Delivery man at the front door, trying to find a way to get in the home. This was on porch cam.
