To the editor:
On a quick trip to pick up my husband in Empire, I clipped into a snowbank. What?!
Wasn’t texting, no radio on, sunny day. But in ‘“Up North” fashion I was rescued by several familiar faces. Harriger, Noonan, Lanham. Such kindness and efficiency. They also were not accepting money. Let’s not let our country forget the neighborliness has been the trademark of this country before 2025.
