Wednesday, Feb. 5

9:14 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller has questions about private plowing laws. There is a male who plows just down the road. Pushes snow across the roadway and onto caller’s property. Caller’s wife hits the chunks left in the road. Some kind of company name on the truck but caller couldn’t read it.

3:02 p.m. — Solon Township — Northwest side of the road, caller has a 17-foot aluminum was for sale set back off the road. Someone shoved snow onto the client’s property where he is keeping the boat. Boat is packed with snow but caller can’t tell if it is damaged. Wants a report. (No known damage to the boat, within a foot of the right-of-way. He has been advised that he should move it.)

3:43 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Vehicle stuck in Pyramid Point parking area. No cell service except 911. Two adults no medical conditions. Will need a tow.

Thursday, Feb. 6

9:30 a.m. — Bingham Township — Southbound on M-22 behind a gray Ford SUV going 20 mph and swerving into other land behind the vehicle. ( Per law enforcement, she is not under the influence. But advised she was just trying to drive cautiously as she was advised not to drive when the roads are snow covered.

11:59 a.m. — Solon Township — Subject fell Sunday and in pain. Crawling around. Caller has tried multiple times to reach the subject. (Contact made by law enforcement. Subject is claiming she is OK. Declines ambulance and hospital. She was napping.

1:18 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has separated from her ex and filed the eviction process. County on Feb. 14 where the eviction will be decided and then will have 10 days before he has to be completely

out.

3:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Trailer with lumber came unhooked from truck. Request one more car for lights south of O’Brien Road.

4:18 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Woman walking in the roadway with a stroller. She does this regularly. Caller is worried for he safety. Was walking north on Maple City Road.

5:30 p.m. —Elmwood Township — Vehicle in the ditch on the north side of the road. Doesn’t look recent. 25 feet

down the ditch.

Friday, Feb. 7

2:37 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Husband woke up delirious. Caller went to the bathroom and when she came out he was gone and the car is gone.

Husband drove to the sheriff ’s office. Law enforcement spoke with him and advised husband was going to the hospital and that their vehicle is in the sheriff’s office parking lot.

10:52 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

Saturday, Feb. 8

10:49 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller slid through stop sign.

6:03 p.m. — Solon Township — Subject was out on the lake fishing. Conservation officer escorted him back to the Solon Township Park.

11:54 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious vehicle reported at gas station. Per law enforcement, driver was “just relaxing.”

Sunday, Feb. 9

9:50 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Plow truck arrived about 1 a.m. Confronted the driver about possibly doing it at a different time. Driver became very aggressive. Used his truck to almost hit caller.

Monday, Feb. 10

3:34 a.m. Elmwood Township — Customer called. Went into store and door was unlocked.

8:28 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller believes one of his kids stole the keys. Just wants the keys back doesn’t want to charge anyone. He knows who has the keys. He doesn’t want to make a criminal report.

12:21 p.m. — Centerville Township — Issues with former tenants who are now her neighbors. Would like to talk to officers about her options.

1:18 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dogs jumped fence. One male. One female. St. Bernard. (Dogs have been found.)

2:46 p.m. — Empire Township — Disorderly person at the Post Office. Other half called, stating he did not make any threats and the other caller is lying. He and his wife are waiting outside the post office in a blue Ford F150.

5:08 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller saw daughter get arrested and went to the apartment that he owns and she rents — went in to get dog and saw and saw that there were two men in the apartment that shouldn’t be there. Do not know them.

10:45 p.m. — Empire Township — Son is trying to get into his house and he is not supposed to be there. Locked out of the house but he is still trying to get in.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

10:09 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Former boyfriend is harassing caller and her boyfriend on Facebook. Caller is concerned about the safety of herself, her kids and her dogs. (Law enforcement suggested the boyfriend send a message advising her wants no more contact and then block the number.

4:54 p.m. — Centerville Township — 6-year-old Golden Retriever got under the porch and is stuck in the fence. Dog has been removed from under the porch.

5:15 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Trespassing with snowmobiles.

6:15 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Michigan State Police request deputy attempt to make contact with a 16-yearold about a tip.
