2:29 p.m. — Solon Township — Single vehicle rollover. Single occupant in the vehicle. States no injuries but can’t get out of the car.
2:59 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Trespass violation.
4:26 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject calling on behalf of mother. Gave Social Security number and personal information to an unknown caller.
6:32 p.m. — Centerville Township — Civil standby while subject gathers belongings.
7:22 p.m. — Solon Township — Male accidentally shot himself in the foot with shotgun. Rabbit hunting.
9 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Disorderlymale refusing to leave. Male half trespassed from the casino.
Saturday, Feb. 1
4:44 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Caller is reporting trying to make a payment with a coupon he got from coast to coast. They would not provide a confirmation number.
6:06 a.m. — Bingham Township — Family trouble.
7:29 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Violation of personal protection order (PPO).
8:15 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Former boyfriend is refusing to leave.
8:55 p.m. — Kasson Township — Truck on the side of the road. It appears to be abandoned. Making contact with some individuals
nearby. (The are out hunting coyotes.)
Sunday, Feb. 2
10:43 a.m. — Bingham Township — Six, large trucks parked on the lane of traffic in front of caller’s address. Making traffic go into the other lane to get by. (Owners are going to move them either farther off the roadway or into the driveway.)
11:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Red truck parked at the pump for over two hours. Hasn’t pumped any gas. But refusing to move the truck because he doesn’t have any gas and doesn’t have money to pay for the gas. (Taken into custody.)
2:25 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Family trouble.
4:33 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Would like a welfare check on an individual. (Subject shoveling back porch.)
5:02 p.m. — Elmwood Township — People screaming in the woods behind the trailer park. Might be coming from Birch Point Road. They heard a bunch of snowmobiles. (No signs of anything in the area, per law enforcement.)
Monday, Feb. 3
8:58 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller say her friend was supposed to pick her up for a doctor appoint and now she isn’t answering her phone. (She is fine. Didn’t have phone with her. She’ll call forthwith.)
10:45 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller needs to collect personal items. Silver Subaru Forester with female half at the pole barn on the property. Now getting some items from the house.
11:02 a.m. — Centerville Township — Truck is on its side in the ditch loaded with dirt. Road closed on M-22 between Good Harbor Trail and Gousty Knowe.
No damage to truck. Road Commission is going to clean up the mess. Road reopened.
11:31 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Daughter keeps coming into the house and stealing items. Would like her trespassed.
1:19 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Asking assistance with a piece of mail that may belong to the person caller has a protection order against. (Letter was just court appearance notice. This is a non-issue, per law enforcement.)
4:33 p.m. — Empire Township — Glen Lake bus driver reporting tree in the roadway. Partially blocking the road.
4:42 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Deputy out with someone blowing snow into the road. (Spoke with homeowner. He is now more knowledgeable about the law.)
6:58 p.m. — Cleveland Township — House across the street has plowed their snow into the road right-of-way. Happens often. Caller does not know the homeowner’s name. (Contact made with homeowner, Advised them to push snow out of the road right-of-way.)
Tuesday, Feb. 4
2:36 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Missing juvenile subject’s parents called them directly about her being missing. She has been gone since Jan. 30 but they just reported it tonight. (Youth returned home safely at 5:30 a.m.)
8:08 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Passing motorist reports a possible fire in the area of North Shore Drive. (Thoroughly checked the area. Unfounded.)
11:29 a.m. — Leland Township — Man outside with tape measure. (Manager was there making repairs. No emergency.)
12:02 p.m. — Kasson Township — At least four cows in the road near “the barn.” Contacted owner. He is also enroute. (Most of the animals have been rounded up. The rest are well off the road and the owner is going for his tractor to assist with rounding them up.)
1:09 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Man has been cutting trees along Dunn’s Farm Road.
1:25 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller came home and found items moved around in the garage.
7:45 p.m. — Empire Township — Someone backed into caller’s Gray Mazda in the parking lot. There was a note left.
8:58 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Intoxicated male on bench in Northport on Nagonaba. Caller advised she spoke with him and he said he needed a ride home. Caller does not know where he lives. Caller concerned because he is out in the elements. (Caller called back.Good Samaritangavethe man a ride home.)
