St. Mary School will host a community night and open house Tuesday Jan. 28, as part of National Catholic Schools Week.
There will be a spaghetti dinner benefit in the cafeteria from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The entire community is invited.
Dinner includes spaghetti, Caesar salad, bread sticks and dessert. A free will offering canbe given in support of the Caldwell family to assist them after a recent cancer diagnosis.
The academic wing of the school will be open for tours of new school upgrades which include a refurbished library and cafeteria, among other important enhancements.
St. Mary girls basketball team will be playing Traverse City St. Francis at 5:30 and 7 p.m.
Students and staff will enjoy special treats and activities including an all school Mass. The week wraps up with Homecoming events.
Students will create banners, decorate hallways and stairwells, compete in Olympic Games and dress for a super spirit day pep rally Friday.
Homecoming activities unfold Friday evening, Jan. 31, when St. Mary boys basketball teams take on Bear Lake with junior varsity at 5:30 p.m. followed by varsity at 7 p.m.
