Sanders leaves the Homestead

Logan Sanders, Vice President of Sales and Accommodations at The Homestead, has decided to leave the resort. Logan has been a mainstay at the resort for more than 14 years, serving in numerous roles, from Reservations Manager to Senior Manager of Accommodations to his current title. As such, he has been one of the first staff members guests and owners interact with, both in person and on the phone, and he has always demonstrated the gracious hospitality that The Homestead has become known for.

A Michigan native, Sanders graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, majoring in Resort Management and minoring in Recreation & Leisure Management. His educational background, experience and commitment to guests, The Homestead and the hospitality industry have been demonstrated ever since he joined The Homestead in 2011.

Sanders said the decision to leave The Homestead was a diffi cult one, as he has enjoyed the work and the culture that he has been a part of. “It was a personal choice. I want to try something outside of hospitality,” said Sanders, though he is unsure at this time what direction that may take.

“The relationships I’ve built here with the team and the work family and the owners and guests are the hardest things to walk away from,” he added. “I love The Homestead and I always will.”

“We are sorry to see Logan go. He’s been a valuable member of our team, and provided our guests and owners with exemplary service,” said Robert Kuras, owner and CEO of The Homestead. “We certainly wish him well in his future endeavors.”
