A holiday film inspired by the life of Charles Dickens will be shown at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Glen Lake Community Library.
“The Man Who Invented Christmas” is a magical journey that led to his creation of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and other classic characters from “A Christmas Carol.”
Dickens mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up a timeless tale, helping transform the holiday season into the celebration we know today.
The film stars Dan Stevens, Christopher Plummer and Jonathan Pryce.
