Consequence of war

A reader had submitted in last’s week’s paper an article highlighting the accomplishments Biden has made during his time in office.

Especially how he has handled the war in Israel. I can’t help but find this amusing. The fall of Afghanistan, giving our enemies B52 bombers and Apache helicopters wasting millions of dollars, and leading to the abuse of women and minorities all to accomplish a campaign Americans cannot afford.

Finally, two wars with American allies. Our enemies know that Biden is weak and will not start a war, so they are attacking our allies knowing he won’t do anything. These issues don’t sound like an accomplished administration.

Has Biden helped negotiate the release of hostages between Hamas and Israel, yes, but one accomplishment over the last 3 years is hardly anything to brag about. Additionally, Biden has been weak in handling the war in Israel. In 1948, the land was declared Israel’s, not Palestine’s, discussion over. Hamas’ attack was unjust, and their use of tunnels under civilian buildings is a war crime they should pay for. Civilian deaths are horrible there’s no questions about it, but that is an unfortunate consequence of war. One million German civilians died during World War II, and no one is calling for British, Russian, America, or French to pay for the deaths they caused, or admit they committed some crime. So why are they calling Israel to do so?
