Skylar Korson of Suttons Bay faces life in prison after being found guilty in a jury three counts of child abuse last month.
A jury trial deliberated for a few hours Nov. 22 before returning with a verdict.
Korson was found guilty of one count of first degree child abuse; one count of second degree child abuse and a third count of fourth degree child abuse spanning from at least 2020.
A story in the Nov. 28 paper indicated she was convicted of all four charges she faced.
Korson’s parental rights remain intact.
