Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season.
And if last weekend was any indication, it’s going to be a busy one.
Holiday shoppers got a head start on their purchases at events across the peninsula last weekend.
There were gift marketplaces in Empire, Glen Arbor and Northport and tree lighting ceremonies in Suttons Bay and Cedar.
