I know there are people out there that are bummed because we have no snow and then there are folks like me.
It is officially deer hunting time. In 1980 Stacey (Thompson) Wilcox got a deer with her pickup truck. Neither Stacey or the deer were happy.
Enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family and after Thanksgiving get ready for the shopping frenzy. Beginning with, in Glen Arbor, Black Friday from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. then the Bed Parade beginning at 9 a.m. and end the day with the Tree Lighting at the Glen Arbor Town Hall at 6:15. The next day, The Glen Arbor Holiday Marketplace at the Town Hall from 10 a.m. Then the Empire Artisan Market also starting at 10 a.m.
There is also a Holiday Market at the Cottonwood Inn, just 1/4 mile out of Empire.
May as well start your Christmas shopping locally.
Get well wishes to Dianne Hammersmith and get well wishes to Jodie Dodson, I understand she is recovering nicely and to Kay Wilcox who celebrated her 90th birthday with some family at Munson Hospital. Would not be my choice and I’m sure it was not hers.
