Pajama drive a success

For the second year in a row, the members of Glen Arbor Women’s Club participated in a pajama drive by Leelanau Christian Neighbors Baby Pantry. Members of the club donated approximately 60 pairs of new pajamas.

For the second year in a row, the members of Glen Arbor Women’s Club participated in a pajama drive by Leelanau Christian Neighbors Baby Pantry.

Members of the club donated approximately 60 pairs of new pajamas. Each child age newborn to 5 years old served by LCN will receive two pairs of new pajamas.

Diane Hamilton, a member of Glen Arbor Women’s Club, is program manager for Blessings in a Backpack (which provides much needed food for children), as well as many volunteers from the club who became aware of the need for pajamas and approached the members of the club about participating in the pajama drive.

Happily, many children in need will have warm and cozy pajamas to enjoy during the winter months.
