The Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department will host two food safety/sanitation management certification programs next month.
“Food Safety Management Principles” will be offered Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 4 and 5 at the Benzie County Resource Center and Leelanau County Government Center, respectively.
The course covers principles necessary to maintain food safety and sanitation within your operation and prepares participants for the Food Safety Manager Certification Examination. The course will meet initial and refresher training requirements.
The cost of the class will be $115 which includes the course book and certification test. The one day class and exam are scheduled in Leelanau County, at The Leelanau County Government Center on Thursday, December 5, 2024, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (lunch on your own). Class and exam will take place at 8527 E. Government Dr. Suttons Bay MI, 49682 in the bottom floor meeting room.
