Another Halloween is in the books and it was fun as always. We had over 250 Trick or Treaters in Glen Arbor, and I am sure the same in Empire for the Trunk or Treat. It is always fun and the costumes are clever. The next holiday to look forward to is Thanksgiving, and that is the beginning. I hope the weather holds out, but we sure need some moisture.
The colors are on the ground and it is a little dull out there now.
Congratulations to the Lakers on a great football season. Unfortunately I have to write this before all the playoff games, but I’m sure they will do a great job.
Next week we set the clocks back and a reminder don’t forget to fly our flag on Veterans Day Nov. 11, as I have said many times, it doesn’t cost a dime to be a patriot. Say it loud and say it proud.
