To the editor:
The present County Board has failed to hire a permanent county administrator. Commissioner Kama Ross, representing Leland and Centerville Townships, cast the only no vote against continuing the process in a speedy fashion. Among other issues, she said she was too busy campaigning. This all happened at a public meeting.
Al Campbell, who is also running for commissioner, stated at the same meeting that the county board must be decisive in its pursuit of a qualified person to fill that position.
We need a decisive leader who will put the needs of Leelanau County first.
