To the editor:
I am writing in support of Ty Wessell for District 4 Commissioner. As a resident of Leelanau Township for nine years, I have seen a number of changes in our county government meetings, including more citizen participation, rancor and disagreement than sometimes seems productive. Ty has impressed me with his leadership. He listens to citizen concerns, and has demonstrated fairness and patience. His dedication is unquestionable. He is forward thinking on technology, environmental issues, attainable housing, and support for young families — all things I value. I can’t think of a better person to represent my district than Ty Wessell.
