The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will host its annual meeting and award ceremony, Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Barn at French Valley Vineyard.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception in the loft followed by a short business meeting and buffet dinner service in the lower level. Business of the Year will be awarded.
A cash bar will be available with a selection of French Valley Vineyard wines, beer, water and coffee stations.
Food service includes hors d’oeuvre display, plated salad with organic spring greens tossed with pear-infused white balsamic vinaigrette topped with dried cherries & toasted almonds, with freshly baked rolls and butter for the table. Buffet dinner includes a carving station with garlic & herb-crusted Steamship Round of Beef, Chicken Breast Forestiere sauteed with fire-roasted leeks and forest mushroom sauce, smoked gouda redskin mashed potato, penne pasta with tomato, basil cream, artichoke hearts & fireroasted sweet peppers with asiago cheese, and fresh vegetable medley with basil & olive oil.
Advance tickets are required. Leelanau Chamber Members: $90/person or a table of eight for $720; non-members $105 per person.
