9:07 a.m. — Leland Township — Credit card fraud.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

9:07 a.m. — Leland Township — Credit card fraud.

10:31 a.m. — Leland Township — Subject was arrested from this location over the weekend. Caller wants him trespassed from the property.

10:49 a.m. — Solon Township — Black, 4-door sedan on South Cedar Rd., near Popa. Passed on double yellows and speeding. Has occurred many times. Most recent was 10 minutes ago. Usually around 10:30 a.m.

1:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Son on paddleboard and he is blowing way out into bay. Life preserver on. Can’t see him anymore. No signs of distress but can’t get back in.

(Father will drive up M-22 to try to get eyes on him. Caller called back. Found son and got him from shore.) 2:10 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller is trying to survey a property line and the adjacent property owner is following him around and threatening to cut out the stakes.

7:01 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller saw on her camera that a woman was walking around her cottage at 2 p.m. and she does not recognize her. She would like the house checked to make sure everything is still secure. (Front door closed, but not locked.)

8:57 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller is reporting a fire on the north end of North Lake Leelanau. Possibly north of the Narrows. (Unfounded.)

9:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is moving out of her mother’s house. She has lived there for 32 years. She has questions about her rights as a renter. (Per law enforcement, advised of her rights.)

9:39 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller reports a male and female arguing and yelling at each other. Nothing physical being reported but caller thinks it should be checked on.

Thursday, Sept. 5

8:22 a.m. — Kasson Township — Cream-colored GMC Acadia; school bus stop violation.

11:06 a.m. — Kasson Township — School bus violation.

5:15 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller had a laptop on the porch. Went to Northport and upon returning it was missing.

6:06 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Blue Ford Edge westbound on Cherry Bend. Swerved toward other motorist. Tailgating.

8:24 p.m. — Cleveland Township — NPS ranger out with silver RV near Shalda Creek.

11:12 a.m. — Solon Township — Individual on his ORV, back in the woods north of caller’s property. Harassing the caller with his presence. Caller feels uptight about it and threatened. (Nothing criminal per law enforcement.

12:46 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Man came up to window and called caller names and took photo of her because her dog barked at him.

3:49 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Gray Tahoe running people off the road and passing with oncoming traffic.

Saturday, Sept. 7

12:32 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is at a house next door. He is reporting somone banging on the doors, screaming at someone to open the door. (Civil issue, per law enforcement.)

7:57 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller is requesting a welfare check on her son. (Everything is OK, per law enforcement.)

8:35 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Wedding barn is playing loud music. Caller lives just north and would like it turned down. Caller advised there isn’t a specific noise ordinance that is law enforceable in the county. Caller would like someone to go and speak with him and “hear how loud it is.” (Caller advised to contact the township board and to reference the grievance.)

9:52 p.m. — Leland Township — Drones directly over caller’s property. Noticed it about five minutes ago. Caller was advised to get a hold of the FAA. Likely a commercial operating with four drones.

Sunday, Sept. 8

2:50 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — One driver on sobrieties. Arrested for operating while intoxicated.

6:02 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Truck parked in the driveway and caller doesn’t know who it is. Possibly three people.

3:29 p.m. —Bingham Township — White mid-sized Chevy pass neighbor to the south playing music too loud. Speeding. Ran another car off the road.

5:28 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Purse taken from public restroom. Caller’s phone was in her purse. (Caller called back to state she found the purse.)

8:03 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller believes her purse was likely stolen out of their gray Porsche parked on M-204.

8:49 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports neighbor is riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes up and down the road at high rates of speed.

10:02 p.m. — Centerville Township— Caller complaining about neighbor to the south playing music too loud. Would like someone to ask him to turn it down.

Monday, Sept. 9

3:56 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone is on caller’s front porch. Trying to get inside. Have been for about 10 minutes.

4:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Beige minivan heading southbound on M-22. Erratic driving over fog line and approaches center. Varying speed. (Call transferred to Grand Traverse County.)

5:58 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller can’t stand to see an animal in trouble. Caller has been inside all day and she went out the side door and saw a raccoon lying on its side. Looks to be in pain.

6:33 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller would like to speak with an officer about neighbor trespassing on his property, according to him. And flipping caller off.
