Classic Consignment, a beloved consignment shop in the northern Michigan community for over two decades, is set to close its doors in December 2024.
The store, known for its collection of classic finds and timeless treasures, has stopped accepting new consignments as of August 30.
Since its opening 22 years ago, Classic Consignment has been dedicated to offering unique and high-quality merchandise to the community.
The decision to close was made with heavy hearts, as the team reflects on the many years of joy and connection shared with their loyal customers.
“After 22 incredible years, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of Classic Consignment,” said Maggie Dakoske, the store’s owner. “We are deeply grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and loyalty we have received from our customers and the community. Your smiles and stories have truly been the highlight of our days.”
In celebration of the store’s legacy, Classic Consignment invites the community to visit and shop throughout the remaining months. This is a special opportunity for longtime patrons and new customers alike to explore the store’s curated collection one last time and to bid farewell to a cherished part of their local shopping experience.
The team at Classic Consignment will continue to provide updates throughout the remaining months. Customers with questions about consignments or other inquiries are encouraged to contact the store directly for assistance.
As Classic Consignment prepares to close, the team expresses their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of their journey.
