Northwoods Hardware, Home, Garden + Nursery is pleased to announce the appointment of Chad Borodychuk as their new general manager.
Borodychuk, former director over the Business & Community Institute, a workforce development organization providing training, coaching, and consulting to companies and organizations throughout the Greater Lansing area.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management information systems and a master’s in business administration as well. While he has other experience in areas such as systems administration, construction, account management, and real estate, his greatest passion and dedication is found in customer service and serving people well.
In his capacity as Northwoods general manager he will be assuming the leadership reins from current owner.
“(Borodychuk) has a clear understanding of what it takes to run a successful retail business,” Northwood owner Jeff Gietzen said. “It’s all about the people, product, and community you are serving, and I could not be more pleased to hand the leadership mantle over to him and see where he takes Northwoods in the future.”
Borodychuk and his wife Lisa, along with son Oliver have created many special memories in Glen Arbor and have grown to love the Glen Arbor area and surrounding communities. That sentiment is best stated by new manager himself.
“Coming on board with Northwood’s isn’t a job for me or our family, it’s an opportunity to be the best we can be for an exceptional community of people, it’s pursuing a passion, it’s a better life, and it’s an opportunity for our family to serve yours, ” he said.
