Mental health program slated

Leland Township Public Library is proud to host Dr. Joanna Quigley as part of its Leland Library Summinars series, Aug.

Leland Township Public Library is proud to host Dr. Joanna Quigley as part of its Leland Library Summinars series, Aug. 20.

Quigley will deliver an important talk on the current state of youth mental health and strategies for supporting young people.

Over the last decade, there has been a significant increase in anxiety and depression levels among American adolescents.

Quigley’s presentation will explore this pressing issue and provide insights on how we can support youth facing mental health challenges.

Attendees are welcome to bring questions.

Quigley is a distinguished Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience in youth mental health.

She serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Michigan.

Quigley is a part of the Michigan Child Collaborative Care (MC3) project and trained in pediatrics, general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
