The children of the late Margaret and Aloysius Peplinski gathered together last weekend to mark what would have been their 100th birthdays.
They gathered at the Peplinski homestead on French Road south of Hohnke roads.
The couple had 15 children: Jim, Dale, Joe, Al Steve, Mary, Denise, Arnie, Charlies, Judy, Deb, Fred, Dan, Linda and Dee.
“It’s amazing. I just put out one date and surprisingly all of us were able to make it,” said Denise (Peplinski) Schlueter, who lives just a stone’s throw away from the homestead, also on French Road.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to celebrate the family home which was also built 100 years ago.
