Suttons Bay was hoppin’ over the weekend for the 44th annual Suttons Bay Art Fair.
Nearly 100 artists and craftsmen participated in the event staged at the marina beach.
Hot humid weather set the stage, but all in all it was a great turnout according to Art Fair committee member Donna Popke.
“Monday, the day after, was perfect art fair weather — sunny and in the 70s,” she said.
The event was well attended, regardless.
“It’s one of the great things about the fair, is that it’s well established,” Popke said. “People come anyway and they leave smiling.”
The committee in year’s passed put on a pancake breakfast at the art fair. They returned to flipping pancakes again.
“I don’t know how many we served but we used up almost all of our food,” Popke said.
The 2025 Suttons Bay Art Fair is scheduled for Aug. 2 and 3.
