Saturday, July 20 children will meet and work at the Old Art Building with some of Leelanau County’s most remarkable artists.
The program, sponsored by St. Peter’s Summer Chapel, is a wonderful time for grandparents, parents and special adult friends to share time with their children and introduce them to a creative experience.
The line-up for artists this year include Molly Barbee, Nina Claytor, Lee Cory, Alex Curchin, Sue Holt, Cabrina Owsley, Kathy Scherer, Neil Smith, and Franklin Starks.
The activities include painting a large mural that will be displayed at St. Peter’s, learning to make candles, and practicing flower arranging.
This special event is being held at the Old Art Building in Leland starting at 11 a.m. and finishing up around 2 p.m.
