Support young families

To the editor: On the August primary ballot, voters will have the opportunity to renew the millage that supports Early Childhood services provided free of charge to all young families in Leelanau County. Extensive research has shown that supporting young families provides strong positive outcomes for our community including school readiness, greater economic self-sufficiency, and better lifelong physical and mental health.

To the editor:

On the August primary ballot, voters will have the opportunity to renew the millage that supports Early Childhood services provided free of charge to all young families in Leelanau County. Extensive research has shown that supporting young families provides strong positive outcomes for our community including school readiness, greater economic self-sufficiency, and better lifelong physical and mental health. Every dollar invested in young children yields financial returns from $4$16 in the decades ahead and strengthens our society. Please vote YES and support our young families.
