Parenting Communities is hosting a family Street Fair on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy campus in Lake Leelanau.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to the VFW Hall.
Parenting Communities is proud to bring back this free event for Leelanau County families to come together and participate in a variety of fun family- friendly activities (e.g., face painting, mobile museum, music and movement activities, bubbles, crafts, etc.), and connect with our Parenting Communities team and other Leelanau families and resources. Taqueria Mosqueda and Leelanau Lemonade will be onsite to provide food and treats to purchase.
“The Parenting Communities team is so excited to be holding this event again after seeing the success that last year’s Street Fair enjoyed,” said Autumn Jurek, Supervisor of the Parenting Communities program. “Once again, we are grateful to be collaborating with local partners to show off all the great opportunities that Leelanau County has to offer families with young children. We hope to see even more families this year than we did last year!”
The Parenting Communities Street Fair is located at 7401 E. Duck Lake Rd, Lake Leelanau.
This event is funded by the Leelanau Early Childhood Millage for Leelanau County families. To find out more about Parenting Communities visit our website: www.bldhd.org/ Parenting-Communities and follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
