A hiring and extra-duty assignments occupied the consent agenda last week for the Suttons Bay Board of Education.
The board approved the hiring of Thomas Broussard as a high school science teacher for the 2024-25 school year.
In addition, the board approved staff assignments, as identified in the Suttons Bay/ Suttons Bay Education Association contract.
These include:
• Noah Phillips, freshman class advisor.
• Cortney Breenner and Lydia Patterson, co-sophomore class advisors
• Joe King and Samantha TwoCrow, co-junior class advisors.
• Lisa Murphy, Libby Wadsworth and Olivia Aurand, kindergarten Round-up/ KinderCamp.
The following fall coaches for the 2024-25 school year are:
• Garrick Opie, football coach.
• Stan Pasch and Doug Periard, varsity football assistant coaches.
• Ryan Memberto and Steve Loucks, junior varsity football head and assistant coach, respectively.
• Leonard Mankowski, boys varsity head coach.
• Liam Thelander, boys varsity soccer, assistant coach.
• Olivia Dohm, varsity volleyball head coach.
• Noah Phillips, junior varsity volleyball head coach.
