Last of Made-in-Michigan series

The Bay Community Theatre in Suttons Bay will show the third and final film of this year’s Made-in-Michigan series with a screening of the documentary film “Marqueetown” by Traverse City writer-directors Joe Beyer and Jordan Anderson.

The Bay Community Theatre in Suttons Bay will show the third and final film of this year’s Made-in-Michigan series with a screening of the documentary film “Marqueetown” by Traverse City writer-directors Joe Beyer and Jordan Anderson.

Beyer and Anderson will be in attendance along with producers Beth Milligan and Christal Frost Anderson for an audience Q&A hosted by Jacob Wheller of the “Glen Arbor Sun.”

“Marqueetown” is set in the Upper Peninsula and features a larger northern Michigan cast and crew, including Oscarwinning producer Kathleen Glynn (“Bowling for Columbine”) and Grammy-winning composer Andrew Dost (of chart-topping pop band fun.)

The event is Sunday, June 23 at 4 p.m. Doors will open at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online at thebaythreatre.com under “Schedule & Tickets.”

In line with the film’s mission, 100% of proceeds from the screening will benefit The Bay Community Theatre.
