Glen Lake Athletic Director Rachel Stein informed the public that the Glen Lake ski-cooperative are expected to add Benzie and Frankfort High Schools to its cooperative program that already includes athletes from Leland and Lake Leelanau St. Mary.

β€œIt would provide a more full ski team for the boys and girls to compete. (High School Skiing) is seeing more and more of it around,” Stein said.

The newly formed cooperative will stay in the Lake Michigan Ski Conference against Onekama and Caledonia.

Onekama hosts a ski cooperative that combines roughly six different schools.

Stein says the ski conference is possibly looking to bring another opponent into the conference that is hosted at Crystal Mountain.
