In his editorial last week, Mr Popa’s confident negativity regarding solar energy in Michigan seems so convincing that only the foolish would wander there — that is until you know the facts. Here are just a few facts from the Solar Energy Industries Association.
…There are currently over 22,500 solar installations in Michigan. I have one of them.
… There are over 231 solar related companies in Michigan.
… Over $1.9 billion has been invested in solar energy in Michigan.
… Among others, Target, Ford, and General Motors have all gone solar in Michigan.
Don’t be put off by foolish negativity. While we are not Arizona, solar works in Michigan.
