The Glen Arbor Women’s Club awarded three scholarships last week at Glen Lake Senior Awards Ceremony at the school.
The event was attended by students, family, community members and school faculty.
Club president, Peg Peppler, shared information about our club and scholarships. Scholarship Chair, Karen Ballard, announced and presented the awards to our three recipients.
This year the club awarded a total of $9,000 to the following students, each receiving $3,000:
• Dylan Cundiff, who will be attending the University of Notre Dame.
• Ella Flores, attending Northwestern Michigan College and
• Karisue Taghon, going to Aquinas College.
The club will be honoring and recognizing these students at our Scholarship Reception on Tuesday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Glen Arbor Township Hall.
