4-H archery offered

The Leelanau 4-H Archery Club, led by state-certified 4-H leader Allison Marion and teen leader Luella Marion, is now taking registrations for archery for youth ages 8 through 19 (with birthdates on or before January 1, 2024.

The Leelanau 4-H Archery Club, led by state-certified 4-H leader Allison Marion and teen leader Luella Marion, is now taking registrations for archery for youth ages 8 through 19 (with birthdates on or before January 1, 2024.

The club will meet outdoors near the old 4-H horse pavilion across from Myles Kimmerly Park in Maple City, June 20 through Aug. 22, on Thursdays, 5:30 to 7 p.m. No cost to attend. All skill levels are welcome, and youth may bring their own equipment or may borrow a club reserve bow and arrows.

The club will be using the USA Archery curriculum to guide their meetings.

Registration is first come, first served for the first eight youth by creating a family account in 4-H Online (or reenrolling in it if your youth is already a 4-H member). https:// v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in Once you have an account, then add your youth as a member of that account, and choose SPIN Club Leelanau 4-H Archery as the club. An email will be sent to all registered families prior to the start of the first club meeting on June 20 .
