G-L Woman’s Club seeks jewelry

The Glen Lake Woman’s Club is looking for donated jewelry to further their college scholarship stewardship for Glen Lake High School graduates. Jewelry can be dropped off at the following locations:

The Glen Lake Woman’s Club is looking for donated jewelry to further their college scholarship stewardship for Glen Lake High School graduates. Jewelry can be dropped off at the following locations:

• Glen Lake Community Library, 10115 W. Front St., Empire, MI

• Glen Lake Salon, 5915 SW, S. Manitou Blvd., Glen Arbor, MI

• Leelanau Coffee Roasting Co., 6443 Western Ave,Glen Arbor, MI

• The Cottage Book Shop, 5989 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor, MI

• Salon Bellissima, 11840 S. Lacore Rd., Empire, MI

• Pure Essence Salon, 430 E. Front St., Traverse City, MI 49636 

The Club offers the jewelry for sale at the Glen Lake Woman’s Club Art Fair each July. This year the Art Fair will be Wednesday, July 17, at the Glen Arbor Town Hall.

Proceeds from the jewelry sale provide college scholarships for graduates of Glen Lake Community School who are attending Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. The Glen Lake Woman’s Club is a 501(c)(3) organization. Their service to the community supports the Club slogan: “If you wish to live in a better place, better the place in which you live.”

To help make the area a better place for all, and to repurpose unused jewelry, please contact [email protected], or drop off donated jewelry at the listed locations. A donation letter will be provided on request.
