The National Alliance on Mental Illness will host a program marking “Mental Health Action Day” on Thursday, May 16 in Kingsley.
The free event, also sponsored by everGROWTH, is recommended for ages 13 to adult and will be held, from 6 to 8 p.m., at The Rock of the Kingsley Youth Center.
A documentary “Do it for Daniel” will be shown with a panel discussion afterward.
The piece details Daniel’s struggle with depression and mental illness, message of hope, and tangible suicide and mental health awareness and education.
The Kingsley Youth Center is located at 115 E Blair St.
