The organization has added a third site for community meals in Leland.

Leland Community United Methodist Church will host a community meal, Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

“We believe that breaking bread together is one of the most powerful ways to build bridges and create lasting relationships,” said Michelle White, co-founder of 5Loaves2Fish. “Our community meal is a testament to our commitment to building a stronger, more connected community where everyone feels welcome and valued.”

In addition to enjoying a delicious meal, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, participate in fun activities, and learn more about the various resources and initiatives available in our community.

“We encourage everyone to come out and join us for this special occasion,” White said. “Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the area, this event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your community, celebrate diversity, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.”

The communal meals are free and open to all members of the community.

The new site is one of three serving the county. Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., the community meal is held at the Friendship Community Center, 201 W. Broadway in Suttons Bay.

And on Thursdays, meals are served from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 220 Nagonaba St., in Northport.
