1:01 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller would like to remove a 2007 Jeep that’s been abandoned on his lot for eight years.
3:56 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Grass fire. Approximately one acre in size. Houses nearby but no on fire. No residential exposures at this point. (Request Consumers for power line down, pole to pole.)
5:54 p.m. — Centerville Township — Wife went out for a walk this morning and isn’t back yet. Frequently walks around the fields and sometimes into the woods.

10:13 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller reports wife took his car and dog. ( Caller called back. Just a miscommunication.)
Saturday, April 27
12:29 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller is not home. Ring camera inside had alarm go off. (Everything secure on walk through per law enforcement.)
2:32 p.m. — Kasson Township — Smoke coming from property to the west of caller. Another passerby reports flames. Large grass fire going into the woods. Call for Glen Lake Fire Department brush and tanker.
3:05 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Large freighter inbound toward shore. A check of marinevesseltraffic.com shows it’s the “Saginaw”, a 63-foot bulk ore carrier. Status has gone from “underway” to “stopped.” Likely seeking refuge from high winds in the Manitou Passage. (Vessel is anchored and secure. Will likely be there until winds subsides.)
3:26 p.m. — Empire Township — Some, trees on fire. Wires involved. (Consumers contacted. Both primary lines are down. Starting more fires.)
6:18 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Tree blocking the eastbound lane. No power lines involved.
7:37 p.m. — Leland Township — Possible illegal burn at Oak and Mill Street. (Fire was extinguished).
8:40 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller left car with keys inside, marked at community center. Thinks someone stole the keys.
9:14 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller heard impact of a car on the road. Swerved into caller’s yard. Hit a deer and then left. Possible a dark SUV or minivan.
Sunday, April 28
1:50 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports loud drumming coming from his neighbor’s house. Says it happens “all the time.”
7:08 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Threats made to staff.
11:31 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller and her mother are very concerned about an excavator digging on land in the area of the south pier in Leland Harbor. (Township decision to move some sand.)
12:43 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Mom drove on suspended license to see his dad.
8:55 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s car was sideswiped. Her vehicle has damage to side mirror. Truck of unknown make and color. No car parts in the road.
Monday, April 29
2:51 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller is staying at cottages. Noticed a rowboat washing up during high winds.
3:59 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Car hit house. Emergency medical service transporting driver to Munson. Appears to be a medical issue.
5:30 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller says aunt took guns from his home. Would like to speak with law enforcement about his options.

5:59 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle at the park. Possibly someone sleeping. Warned about no overnight camping.
