To the editor:
An opportunity in Leelanau County lies ahead with the August primary. We will be able to support funding for early childhood, senior services, a road millage along with selecting our public servants for the years ahead. We have been building a strong county dedicated to the needs of all. This effort has been reflected in the desire of many to move here and hopefully gain employment, raise a family, or retire.
As all of us are presented with more information, plan to select candidates who will continue building the community and to vote for the millages that allow this to happen.
