Leelanau Reads event May 18

The four public libraries of Leelanau County will host William Kent Krueger at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at the Northport Performing Arts Center.

The four public libraries of Leelanau County will host William Kent Krueger at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at the Northport Performing Arts Center.

Krueger is the author of more than 20 books, including the popular Cork O’Connor mystery series. He will be discussing his latest book, “The River We Remember.”

Krueger will be interviewed by local writer Aaron Stander, author of the Ray Elkins mystery series. Copies of Krueger’s new will be available for purchase at the event thanks to Dog Ears Books.

Advance registration is required for this free author event. Seat reservations are now open for library patrons only. If you have a card at a Leelanau County public library, contact your library to reserve up to two seats. Any remaining tickets will be available to the general public in May.

This author event is part of Leelanau Reads community reading program. During the annual Leelanau Reads program, county residents are encouraged to come together in a shared reading experience.
